Workshop "New Market Trends – Innovation & Promotion of Local Agrofood products – Environmental friendly techniques" in BIC of Epirus – Region of Epirus

The workshop " New Market Trends – Innovation & Promotion of Local Agrofood products – Environmental friendly techniques " was held on 27 March 2014 in the BIC of Epirus premises, as one of the activities of the project "Miniaturization technology: synergies of research and innovation to enhance the economic development of the Adriatic - IPATECH", in which the BIC of Epirus is the final beneficiary, along with another eight partners from five European countries.

The workshop attended 31 entrepreneurs and representatives. During the WS the speaker expert on agrofood and innovation, presented the market trends in agrofood innovation, techniques for marketing of products such as certification of products, certification of organic products and labeling procedures as well as new market trends for more environmental friendly procedures such as ecolabeling and carbon footprint calculation.
