Characteristics of quality and simplicity criteria of olive oil

On 27/06/2013 Council of Ministers discussed and approved the Regulation "On the characteristics of quality and simplicity criteria of olive oil and olive oil marc"

This regulation applies to categories of olive oil and olive oil marc defined in Article 5 of the Law nr.87/2013, dated 25.02.2013, "On the classification of production, denomination and marketing of olive oils and oil of olive marc."
Sampling for analysis and methods of analysis for determining the performance characteristics of quality, simplicity and criteria defined by safety instructions of the minister responsible for food.

From the adoption of this regulation benefit, olive oil producers and organoleptic analysis laboratories that perform olive oil, which will operate on the basis of a unique methodology and well-defined criteria for evaluating the quality.
