Ministry of Agriculture is considering carefully the possibility of its cultivation in Albania
The interest for the increase of the efficiency and profit of the farms has leaded to the cultivation of the new agricultural crops. A good example on that is the engagement of the farmers in Myzeqeja and west area of Albania to cultivate massively new plants that has been not known before in Albania. Vice minister of Agriculture, Food and Consumer protection, accompanied by representatives of the scientific and research centers has attended a seminar held on Fier, where was presented “Stevia” plant. Main presentations in this meeting were held by Greek representatives of the Institute Filos and farmers of the “Stevia” association.
