Description
Qemal Sulejmani was born and lives in a village of Shushica Communes, his family run a farm. He spent 15 years in Italy (Foggia) working in agriculture and he had the opportunity to acquire skills, know how and relevant information on new technology and new agriculture techniques. In 2008 he returned to Albania and started a new company in the agriculture sector. Every year he cultivates different kind of vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflowers, cunning, spinach, and more. He works more than 13 ha of land rented by others farmers while he produces the vegetable seedlings by himself. Irrigation drops and care shown to increase vegetable production and quality make him very successful in his business. This irrigation system is very effective: still today farmers do not spend time for the irrigation and especially on techniques that allow water to go directly to the roots of the plants. Through irrigation drop the land near the plants absorbs the water; this way the humidity and all minerals remain closer to the plant by improving the feeding process. He cultivates products which are requested in the market and they have competitive prices.
