Representatives of UPIP Zepce participated in the Fair of Education and Employment in Zenica. Under the sponsorship the Office of Special Representative of EU in BiH and the Norwegian Embassy in BiH on 21.11.2014ththe Fair of education and employment was held in Zenica.
Ambassador of Norway in Bosnia and Herzegovina, her Exelency Vibeke Lilleoe wished a successful visit and warm welcome at the fair under the theme "Look what will live of". On behalf of Zenica town, Mayor Mr. Husein Smajlović addressed to all visitors with appropriate speech. The fair was visited by 28 ambassadors with headquarters in Sarajevo and approxiamtly by 50 European Parliamentarians from Brussels, that supported activities of the organizers.
More than 100 exhibitors - companies, institutions, international projects and intermediaries in employment, represented themselfs with specific programs on this fair that is one of the largest fairs of this kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among the exhibitors there were presentatives of UPIP Zepce who also participated in the fair and introduced visitors to the work and activities implemented by these NGO. Also the results of previous implemented projects and development possibilities of entrepreneurship in agribusiness sector were presented. Special attention was given to “IPATECH - Miniaturization technology: synergies of research and innovation to enhance the economic development of the Adriatic“. Representatives of the UPIP Zepce introduced visitors to results achieved with IPATECH project and the development opportunities for family hoseuholds, SMEs of rural areas in the agri-food sector.
Visitors had the opportunity to meet with employers, donors, embassies and agencies from EU members states and from USA, and also with representatives of NGO sector and business incubators. They all become familiarized with the job opportunities and education in BiH and abroad.
Educational workshops on job seeking and entrepreneurship were held during the fair and through that visitors had the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the visibility on the labor market and the transformation of business ideas into successful business.
The Fair of Education and Employment enabled employers to get insight into the labor market in BiH, exchange of new business contacts and to visitors it provided new knowledge, experiences and employment opportunities in BiH.
